A will is a legal document that specifies who will inherit your estate (property, possessions, and other personal items) after you pass away. It's essential to have a valid will to avoid confusion and challenges for your loved ones. We at Royal Seal Notary Public/Oshawa can assist with executing your will by providing easy in-person signing services where we meet with you and your witnesses to assist with the signing process and complete the affidavit of execution.

If you're unsure of how to create a will, we can assist with that too. We can provide guidance on how to create a valid will, and ensure that your will is signed and executed correctly.

It's essential to sign your will properly to ensure it's valid. In Ontario, a will must be signed by the testator (the person creating the will) in the presence of two witnesses. The witnesses must sign the will in the presence of the testator and each other. Witnesses to wills cannot be a beneficiary, the spouse of a beneficiary, or a person under 18.

Contact us at Royal Seal Notary Public/Oshawa for more information on how we can assist with executing your will.
